1. General provisions and definitions
1.1. About this document
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the blink2.link website and all related services, including the web app, API, and link shortening functionality (collectively, the "Service").
The Service is operated by FOP Yuriy Yelizarov, 2234715012, Ukraine, Lviv ("blink2.link", "we", "us").
By using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.
1.2. Definitions
"User" means an individual or legal entity that uses the Service after registering an account.
"Account" means a user's personal profile with unique credentials (email and password).
"Short link" means a shortened URL created via the Service that redirects to the original (destination) URL.
"Free plan" means a pricing plan with limited functionality available at no cost.
"Paid subscription" means a commercial plan with expanded functionality billed monthly or annually.
"API" means the application programming interface for integrating Service functionality into external apps.
"Personal data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (under GDPR and Ukrainian law).
"Content" means URLs, data, and information a User uploads, creates, or transmits through the Service.
"Paddle" means Paddle.com Market Limited, the payment processor and Merchant of Record for paid subscriptions.
1.3. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes that affect your rights or obligations, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance:
- By email to the address in your account
- Via an in-app or website notice at sign-in
- By updating the "Last updated" date in this document
Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
2. Registration and account
2.1. Registration requirements
To use the full functionality, you must create an account. By registering, you confirm and warrant that:
- You are at least 16 years old (minimum age under GDPR)
- The information provided is accurate, complete, and current
- You have the legal right to accept these Terms in your jurisdiction
- If registering on behalf of an organization, you have authority to legally bind that organization
Mandatory transactional emails:
- We send transactional emails required for Service operation, including during registration and when you are invited to a workspace by another user
- By performing these actions, you agree to receive such emails
- Sending these emails is an integral part of the platform and cannot be disabled
2.2. Account security
You are fully responsible for:
- Keeping your password and API key confidential
- All activity under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any suspicious or unauthorized use
We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account access due to your failure to protect credentials.
Security recommendations:
- Use a strong, unique password (minimum 8 characters, including uppercase letters, digits, and symbols)
- Do not share credentials with third parties
- Update your password regularly
- Always log out on public computers
2.3. Account limits
A User may have only one free account. Creating multiple free accounts to bypass limits is strictly prohibited and may result in blocking all related accounts without notice and without refunds for active subscriptions.
Users with paid subscriptions may have multiple accounts provided each is billed separately.
3. Service description
3.1. Core functionality
blink2.link provides the following services:
Link shortening:
- Convert long URLs into short links like blink2.link/xxxxx or your own domain
- Create custom aliases for links
- Generate QR codes for each short link
- Bulk link creation via API
Analytics and statistics:
- Click counts per link
- Visitor geography (country, city)
- Traffic sources (social networks, search engines, direct visits)
- Device and browser information
- Time-based activity charts
- Data export to CSV, Excel, PDF
Domain management:
- Connect custom domains (unlimited on paid plans)
- Automatic SSL certificate issuance for custom domains
- Domain verification via DNS records
- Full management of domain settings
API integration:
- RESTful API for programmatic access
- Documentation with code examples
- One API key per account with rotation
- Webhook integrations for real-time data
3.2. Technical infrastructure
Hosting and availability:
- The Service runs on Vercel.com with servers in Europe
- The database is hosted on Supabase.com in European regions
- We aim for 99.5% availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
- Planned maintenance is performed with notice where possible
Data and GDPR:
- All personal data is stored exclusively on EU servers
- GDPR compliance (EU General Data Protection Regulation)
- Compliance with Ukrainian personal data protection law (Law No. 8153)

3.3. Service limitations
We reserve the right to:
- Set and change technical limits (number of links, API requests, etc.)
- Temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance
- Change or discontinue features with 30 days' notice
- Refuse service without explanation (with a prorated refund for unused subscription period)
4. Pricing plans and payments
4.1. Free plan
The free plan is available without time limits and includes:
- Up to 50 short links per month
- Basic analytics (last 30 days)
- Use of the blink2.link domain
- Limited API access (100 requests per day)
- QR codes for all links
- CSV data export
Important: The free plan is intended for testing and evaluation. We may remove inactive free accounts (no activity for more than 12 months) with 30 days' notice.
4.2. Paid subscriptions
Paid plans include expanded functionality:
Included in all paid plans:
- Unlimited short links
- Full analytics without time limits
- Custom domains (from 1 to unlimited depending on plan)
- Full API access (from 10,000 requests per day)
- Priority email support
- Export data in all formats (CSV, Excel, PDF)
- No blink2.link branding on redirect pages
- Team invitations (Team plan)

4.3. Payments via Paddle
Merchant of Record:
All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, acting as Merchant of Record. This means:
- You purchase your subscription from Paddle, not directly from blink2.link
- Paddle handles payment processing, taxes, and invoicing
- Your bank statement will show "Paddle.com"
- Payment transactions are governed by Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms
Payment methods:
- Bank cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- PayPal
- Other methods depending on your country
Currencies and taxes:
- Prices are shown in USD or EUR
- VAT and other applicable taxes are added automatically based on your location
- If you are VAT-registered, provide your tax ID to receive a VAT-exempt invoice (reverse charge)
4.4. Subscriptions and auto-renewal
Billing cycle:
- Monthly subscription: billed every 30 days
- Annual subscription: billed every 365 days (discounted vs monthly)
Auto-renewal:
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period
- Charges are made automatically to your payment method
- We send an email reminder 7 days before renewal
- You can cancel anytime in your account settings
Plan changes:
- Upgrade: New features are available immediately. The price difference is prorated for the remaining period and charged immediately
- Downgrade: Changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. You retain access to the current plan until the period ends

Pro:
- 5,000 links/month
- 10 domains
- 10,000 API requests/day
Team:
- 20,000 links/month
- Unlimited domains
- 50,000 API requests/day
- Team collaboration (member invitations)
Enterprise:
- Custom limits
- Dedicated manager
- 99.9% SLA
6. Prohibited content and use
Users must not use the Service to:
- Create links to illegal content
- Distribute malware, phishing sites, or fraud
- Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other IP rights
- Send spam or unsolicited advertising
- Violate Ukrainian or EU law
We may:
- Block links that violate these Terms
- Restrict or suspend accounts without notice
- Remove content that violates the law
7. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We are not liable for:
- Direct or indirect damages related to using or inability to use the Service
- Loss of profits, data, or reputation
- Outages caused by third parties or force majeure events
8. Account deletion
You may delete your account at any time via profile settings.
After deletion:
- Your short links may be deactivated
- Analytics data may be deleted or anonymized
- API access will be revoked
We may retain certain data if required by law (for example, payment records).
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lviv, Ukraine.
